5 months already?

Sweet baby Piper, I can't believe you are five months old already, the time has flown by so quickly. We thank God everyday for letting us be your Mommy & Daddy, you bring such joy to each day.

One month old.

You are such a good natured baby always ready to giggle and smile. Your laughter is very contagious, we can't help but laugh when you do.

Two months old.

You have been such a good baby, we never had to experience sleepless nights and long crying spells. You love to lay down in your bed and go to sleep by yourself and now you "talk" to your toys just trying to keep yourself awake.
Three months old.

You love to eat, so far you have not turned down any food. Applesauce, peaches, peas, greenbeans and squash, you love it all. I sure hope you continue not to be picky.

Four months old.

You have your grandparents wrapped around your finger, they think you are the greatest.

Five months old.

You are the apple of Daddy & Mommy's eye and we love you so very much.
Thank you God for giving us this special blessing, we pray that you will help
us to raise her to love you. We love you Piper Jaylin, Happy Five month birthday.

Splish, Splash...

Splish, Splash Miss Piper is taking a bath.

Piper loves her baths, she makes quite a splash.

Picture update...

Piper enjoying the outdoors, while Mommy & Daddy mow and pretty up the yard.
Here are a few random picture of what has been happening around the homeplace. Nothing too exciting, unless you call rain almost everyday exciting. Please help us pray that the rain will stop and the fields will dry up, we still have about 600 acres of soybeans left to plant and it is getting pretty late in the season for planting.

Mommy & her Sweetheart.

Showing off the outfit that my Aunt Cheryl Robinson got me.
Thank You so much, I really look cute in it.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's to a wonderful husband and father, no one else can fill your shoes. Thank you for being such a good Daddy to Piper, we both love you very much.
Dad, thank you for being such a wonderful father, I love you more than words can say. Thank you for helping me grow to be the woman I am today and most of all thank you for teaching us how to have a great time no matter what we are doing. "Even eating hotdogs."

Family is the best thing in the world.

Daddy's love their little girls.

And Grumpy loves her too.

Daddy I'll always be you Indian Princess.
Happy Fathers Day to all Fathers, hope the day is filled with many wonderful things just for you.

Parade Time...

We took Piper to her first parade today, the small town of Birmingham, IA had there annual Homecoming Days parade. The above picture is a friend of ours Corey (his Dad works at the farm) he fixed this tractor up for a 4H project.
Eric took and 1206 Wheatland and drove it in the parade, it is newly painted and fixed up.
This is a friend of ours Mike and his nephew on Mike's green tractor, still working on him to get a red one.
Miss Piper was enjoying watching all the action, tractors and kids jumping around trying to get some candy. She acted like she was having a great time.
Enjoying time with her cousin Aaron Blauvelt from Arizona. We had a great time at the Homecoming Days just hanging out and having family time. Hope all of you have a wonderful Fathers Day.

For Vertie

Here is Miss Piper in her darling dress and hair bow from Vertie(a sweet lady at my Dad's work). The bow is adorable and has an embroidered "P" on it. Thanks You so much for the outfit, I just love it.

Finished Object Friday

Good for me, I finally have a finished object to share. I have been trying to make my porch look "homey" and so I decided the chair needed a pillow(the chair also needs painted, got the paint today) and so out came the fabric I have been saving for just the right occasion. I just love the way it turned out, I bought a pillow form at Wal-Mart and just cut my fabric a few inches bigger and sewed it together. I made the back out of two pieces of denim and put hidden snaps to keep it closed. Sorry the back picture came up first, but I just can't figure out how to post pictures in the right order.
I think it turned out pretty good for about a 30 minute project and it really adds to the porch.
Miss Piper helps with the decor too. Go on over to the Chari Tree for some more Finished Objects and check out Chari's cool tote bags. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Cheers for the Red, White & Blue...

Would you look at the rolls on Miss America. I believe she needs "Diet" formula. I had a great time taking Piper's pictures today, she is getting to be a very fun subject.
Making Mommies porch look extra good. Mommy is working on making it look nice.

Yummy fingers, care for a bite?

Oh, the lazy dayz of summer, aren't they the greatest.
I did not put her hand like this, it was totally her own pose.

Just hanging out waiting on Mommy to get just the right angle.

Miss Cutie Pie!

Wagons Ho!
Well I hope you have enjoyed this little photo session of Miss Piper. I am sure you can find a new background for your computer Modge & Grumpy, there are plenty to choose from this time.

Directions...

Could someone please give me directions to the Chunky Baby Beach?

Messy but Quiet...

I might have a messy living room but it sure is quiet around here. The kids have played hard all morning and now they are having nap time and I am having some "me" time.
Little Miss Piper sleeping with her rabbit, what a little princess.

Mr. Keagan, napping quietly in his "cage."

And last but not lest, Payton. The big sister and my big helper.
It might look like a tornado went through my house for a few hours two days a week but at least
I have happy kids.

All Girl...

Well Miss Piper has once again added to her dress collection. Everyday I stand in front of her closet and have a very hard time picking an outfit. She has so many cute clothes that makes it very difficult to choose one and she is growing so fast that some outfits she only wears a couple of times. I am having a blast dressing my little baby doll because I know in a few years she will want to pick out her own clothes and Mommy's opinion will not matter anymore.

"Give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair..." Look at all the hair bows for a little girl who has no hair. I have been having a great time making Piper bows and she does wear them on her headbands. I am considering starting an Etsy shop or something like that to try and sell some bows. What do you think, would it be a good idea or not? Please give me your opinion.

Growing Girls...

If I put a brick on her head will it make her stop growing? Sunday night I put Piper is this cute outfit, she looked adorable. The only problem is it made my baby look too grown up. I love watching her learn new things and go through all the "baby" stages, but I am kinda sad cause my baby is getting to be such a big girl.
Well here is picture of my "other girl", Payton was in a wedding last week and then came to spend the night with us. I just can't believe how fast she has grown, it seems like just yesterday I kept her for the first time, she was two months old when she began coming to my house. Anyway just thought I would let you see my two beautiful girls, hope to get more updates soon. I have been working on the bathroom, that post will be coming shortly.
