Piper's 1st Halloween

Mom, do I have to wear this shirt?
I just love the look on her face here, she does not know if she is happy or upset. Thanks for the shirt Mom, she did wear it today.

Just a little surprise "BOO!"

Happy Halloween and Birthday...

Happy Halloween to everyone, hope you get lots of candy. And a very Happy Birthday to my wonderful Dad. I love you very much and can't wait to see you at Christmas. Love, Eric, Melissa and Piper.

Finally finished...

After starting this quilted tree skirt two years ago it is finally finished. My Mother inlaw paid for me to take the class and make this tree skirt. I took the first class and then life happened and just a few weeks ago I had the chance to go back and finish it. Click on the pictures for a better look.
I had to cut all the pieces just the right way and sew them together just right. I decided I am not cut out to be a quilter, you have to follow the directions to closely.
I thought it turned out pretty nice and I got it done just in time to use under the tree this year.
For more finished objects go on over to the the Chari Tree and see what is happening over there.

At our house...

So what has been going on at your house? Trying to keep up with a fast crawling/pulling up to everything little girl, that is the happening at our home. Piper loves to play peek a boo, but she just has to peek at you. What a silly monkey.
She has also discovered the child's kitchen and has great fun getting all the dishes and food out.
Warning do not hide Christmas presents in your closet if you have a daughter that loves your shoes. I left the door open yesterday and she found one of her presents, good thing she won't remember by Christmas.

Vote for Piper

Miss Piper says "Please vote for me." I have entered this picture in a Vera Bradley contest and would love it if everyone would vote for Piper, it is easy and you do not have to sign up for anything. Just click on this link and it will take you to the right page, under Piper's picture you will see purses that are used to rate the picture. Thank You to everyone, I believe the contest ends on the 23 but you may vote once an hour until then.

Piper's new ride...

Miss Pipers new car seat came today. She was getting just a little big for her old one. So we found one that will work for as long as she has to sit in a car seat/booster. Now if she could just be turned around, but I guess we will have to wait a few more months for that.

Alright Mom, I'm ready to go.

And just how does this thing work?

Wow, this is a big box. I could be shipped to Grumpy & Modge in this.

My finally FOF!

Many months ago I told you I was redoing the bathroom, well what do you know it is finally done. The above picture gives you an idea of what it did look like, I was babysitting the day they worked on it and forgot to get any better photos. We got ceramic tile, new cabinet with double sinks and a new toilet.
I went with hot pink and black for my color scheme and I love it.
I had these plates laying around and decided they needed a face lift, so I cut out a few flowers on Provo craft vinyl with my handy dandy cricut cutter. Tada, a new look.
I also cut out the letters for this wall and spray painted this cute bicycle.

The curtains were a shower curtain I found at Goodwill and Mom found the pink and
black trim. Hope you enjoyed my finished object, I sure am. Go on over to the Chari Tree
for more cute finished objects.

Family Times

1. Hello, may I take your order?
Here are just a few pictures of the good time we have been having with Grumpy and Modge. We are enjoying them so much and Miss Piper is getting spoiled rotten.

Geaux Tigers. We enjoyed listening to the
football game with Grumpy.

We picked Grumpy up in the Quad Cities and got to spend
some time with Grandma Robinson. What great memories.

What a nice looking family.

No one loves this baby girl. HAHA!

Little Miss...

Little Miss Piper you are the sunshine in our day.
What a dreary world it would be without you.

You are growing too fast, baby girl.
Don't try walking yet, Mommy's not ready for it.

Such a sweetheart. We love you Little Miss Piper.

Girl Fun...

Piper and her Mommy are having a great time with Modge. We have already been shopping and just having lots of girl time. Next week Grumpy will be here and we are sure to have lots more fun then.

Miss Cheeser, she loves shopping, can't you tell?

Don't you just want to eat this piece of candy corn up?
