I'm still here

I know it has been awhile since I last posted but I just have not had anything exciting happen in my life. Today I have been cleaning the basement, which tends to get messy after awhile. I also took a nap, something I have been doing everyday, I have been so tired lately. Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment and I am supposed to watch Payton and Keegan in the afternoon.
I wish all of you would pray for our families friend Midge, she is going to have surgery tomorrow for a mass on her colon, they believe it could be cancer. She is a dear friend whom Mom house cleans for and has just become another "grandma" to the rest of us. Please pray that the surgery will be a success and she will recover quickly.

12 week update...

Here are twelve week photo's of the Mommy to-be. I am getting a poochy tummy and can hardly wear any of my regular clothes, this would not be a problem if I could find skirts to wear. Thanks to Eric's Aunt Lisa I have this nice khaki skirt that fits wonderful with room to grow. If any of you know where I could find some skirts please let me know, I am really needing them.
Mom hope you enjoy the pictures.

I survived the storm...

Hello blogging friends, As many of you know I stayed a few days at Iowa-Illinois Camp. Well Sunday was as good as can be expected (we had kitchen duty). Sunday night found me spending the night alone in my in-laws camper, no big deal right. That is until about 5:30 Monday morning when the wind started blowing and it was raining(the wind was clocked at 94 mph at the airport). I woke up looked out the window and the trees were dancing, bending and breaking, the electricity went out and then things got even scarier. The wind was blowing so hard the camper was rocking and limbs were hitting the roof, I was sure a big dead branch right over the bed was going to come through, so I went to the couch, covered my head and began praying for the storm to go away and that no one would get hurt. Well the Lord is good and the storm did end but not before a tree fell on Eric's Aunt DeRene and Uncle Toms camper. It did major damage to their camper but thank the Lord they were safe. I heard someone say that we lost about forty big limbs or trees on the campgrounds. Monday we had no morning service, everyone was cutting and hauling trees and limbs. By the end of the day they had gotten four generators to run the camp but only lights, no a/c. But the Lord was good to us and keep it from getting to hot. When we left Tuesday night there still was no power. And as always I did not have my camera, I will get pictures from someone soon.

More Pictures

I have even more pictures but I will not take the time
to share all of them right now. I will try to post again soon, we will be going up to camp in
the morning and then I will be staying until Tuesday night. Eric is going to be lonely here at home or maybe it will be me who will miss him. Anyway got to go get my bags packed. Hope
everyone has a nice weekend.
Just hanging out with Dixie.
All the Robinson's came over for supper on Monday night.
We had a great time eating and being together.
Dad- The King of the grill.
Ashlan playing Candy Land with Sarah and Alex.
Zachery eating his ice cream. Yummy!

Vacation Pictures

Well I am finally getting around to posting a few pictures of our vacation. My brother drove up on Monday (to bring a car to my Uncle) and while he was here he so willingly painted our basement steps for us. Thanks Matt, they look great! The next morning found the three of us nicely squished into the Sunfire heading for Louisiana.
We had a pretty good trip down. Matt and Eric did complain about how many pit stops I had to make but all in all it was a nice trip.
Matt "cheese'n" for the camera.
Some flooding along the way.
Quiet Baby sleeping! HA
Poor Eric, working on his vacation. But the yard sure did
look better when he got done.

Home Sweet Home!

We are finally home after spending a wonderful week with my family. We had a great time visiting, boating, swimming and more. I have lots to unpack today but I promise to get some pictures and more details up later. Just wanted to let everyone know that we made it home safe and sound.

Celebrating Freedom

We had a nice quiet July 4th. Eric worked in the morning and I mowed the yard and fix some yummy food. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings had Red, White and Blue Jello salad, potato chips and watermelon. It was all very good and we had a nice time just being the two of us.
Our friend Midge gave us this tent for Christmas, this was the first time to use it.
The weather was great it never got above 75 degrees. We went to town and watched
the fireworks last night but wouldn't you know I forgot the camera.
OH well, fireworks are fireworks.
Now I am trying to get my clothes together so we can go on vacation. We are going to visit my parents, I can't wait. Finding clothes that still fit is becoming a problem. As Payton says I am getting a "baby tummy." Maybe I will just wear PJ's all week, that sounds like vacation.

May I have you attention...

I would like the share our good news with all my fellow bloggers. Our family will be growing by two feet in February 2009. We went for an ultrasound today and everything looks great. We are praying that everything continues to go well and that I don't get sick, so far I have been doing very good and have hardly been sick at all.

I know this is not the greatest picture, but what do you expect for my first picture. Mom did not give me anytime to comb my hair. :)
This is my little heart beating. My Mommy and Daddy enjoyed seeing my heartbeat and I even wiggled around for them too.

A little decorating...

Here are a few pictures for Chari, she asked to see some of my patriotic decorating. I love to decorate for the different seasons. So here are a few of the things that I have out during the summer months.
The decor on the piano. Sorry Sonia it doesn't get played very often. This little display is in the entryway. The picture is at an odd angle because there is not
much room in there. Well I hope you enjoy a small tour of the house, I may post some other rooms later.
