Railing redo...

I am so in love with my new stair railing! Would you just look at that old wrought iron railing that was in here, UGLY and the lattice work did not improve the looks any. The lattice was for my sanity not beauty, Keagan went under the railing one day and was just barely holding on with his little hands and head. Don't worry he did not fall thanks to his sister who noticed him. Eric came right home and put up the lattice so I would not lose my mind.
We finally got the materials to put up a nice (safe) railing, the carpenters came about 7:30am today and had it all done by 11:45am they are great.
Here is the new and improved railing, don't you think I have a right to be in love with it?

Bad Days...

I thought I would let you know that Miss Piper does not always smile. She does have melt downs every once in a while. The above picture is her crying her eyes out because Mommy told her "no", Mommy is such a meany.
Sitting on the edge of your Going to Grandmas suitcase must not be to comfortable or maybe she is crying because she is too big to fit in it. Hope you are having a great day, if not go ahead and put your head down and cry, Piper might even join you.

My FOF

I finally have a FOF, good, good for me. I made Piper some new binka clips, she has to have ones that match her outfit. Right? The one on the far left I bought at Target, after finally finding some clips I dug into my ribbon stash and TaDa! You can do anything with a little hot glue and velcro. Stop by the Chari Tree for more finished objects.

When I grow up...

Little Girls...

Buzz and Crystal Gilchrist came down on Thursday and we got to spend a few hours with them, it was great fun. Piper and Autumn played together while Crystal and I talked(can you believe it.) I hope these little girls grow up to be good friends like there Mommies are. Piper and Autumn are about 6 months apart, but Miss Piper is almost bigger than Miss Autumn.

Do you know how hard it is to get two little girls to look at the camera at the same time?

The Cutie

This is for Modge, she wanted to see Piper with her sash on.
Well this is as good as it gets, she wanted to eat it.

I love this outfit but it makes her look so grown up.
She is wearing her navy shoes Modge.

If you click on this picture and enlarge it, you can see her two teeth.
I believe that is enough about Miss Piper for today, watch for videos of her later this week.

Stockport Days...

Stockport Days 2009, Miss Piper went to her first parade. She enjoyed watching the parade and Payton and Keagan catching candy.
All my kiddo's, they had alot of fun.

Eric on the mighty 1206 Wheatland

I know I am sitting in the wrong chair but Mom would not share hers.

Here she is at the baby contest. And the winner is...

Miss Piper, she won 1st place.

Eric enjoying the tractor pull.

Go Daddy!

Old Threshers

Holding my Nana's kettle corn. I sure would like to try it.
We had a great time at Old Threshers yesterday, the weather was perfect for being outside. Piper had a good time looking at all the sights and having people talk to her.
A steam engine, this is what Old Threshers is all about, the way steam engines were used to thresh stuff years ago.
There were some pretty horse being used for threshing too. They are massive animals.
Miss Piper liked the horse and most anything she saw. She loves to ride in her stroller.

Eric finally got his caramel apple, he loves those things.

Miss Piper the showgirl. She thought it was great fun peeking out at Mommy.

Her first carousel ride. A lady that worked there said "she has never seen a child so young enjoy the ride so much."

This is the way she wanted to ride, laying down. She would pat the horse and holler.

Silly little girl loved my dill pickle, she would get upset if I did not give it to her.
Well as you can tell we had a great time, I love the days that we get to spend as a family. Tomorrow is another big day, the little town of Stockport is having its annual BBQ Days. There will be a parade, tractor and truck pull, baby contest (Piper will be in it) and much more. We are going to have a great time with our friends there, that will be our last "family fun time" for awhile because harvest and Daddy's long hours will start pretty soon. So we are enjoying these last few "fun" days.

Busy, Busy...

Just thought I would post a couple pictures of Piper and give you a quick update on the goings on around here. Miss Piper is changing everyday, as you can tell she is pulling up on her knees some and army crawling everywhere. There is never a dull moment around here with her.
Here is a picture of her two teeth, not the greatest but that is the best I could do. We are taking her to Old Threshers tomorrow and I know we will have a great time. Pictures to come.
On to a something different, I am so excited a scrapbook store opened in our small town. YEAH!!!! I informed the ladies running the place that they would be the reason for my divorce. No, I am not getting a divorce but with a scrapbook store only 10 minutes away not 45 minutes, I could get into major trouble. Anyway I just thought I would let ya'll in on my excitement. Well hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend.
