Love...

What a wonderful Christmas we had with our family. As you can tell Piper Loved her doll. It now goes everywhere with us. I will update with more pictures once we go home but this will probably be the last post until the weekend as I want to spend as much time with my family as possible. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and has a very happy and safe New Year.

This picture of Piper at our church dinner was just too cute not to post though. Hope you all have a great Saturday, bye for now.

Christmas Tour...

The entryway.
Welcome to our home, I am so glad you stopped by for a look at my Christmas decorations. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I enjoy decorating our home for the season.
The living room tree, this tree is decorated with ornaments my parents gave to me while I was growing up and ones we have added since being married. This tree holds may happy memories.

Just a little nook in the living room.
Cute little kitchen tree.

My daughters tree.

Pink & Green for the guest bedroom.

Mr. Pelican guards the master bedroom tree.

And last but not least my Hot Pink & Black tree in none other than the bathroom.
So glad you stopped by and visited, too bad you could not come by in person and I could offer you all something warm to drink and a Christmas treat or two. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. For more tour of homes visit the Nester, there are many homes to visit.

Christmas Day 13

Getting two active little girls and a sleeping baby to look at the camera at the same time, impossible. Piper had fun getting to know her cousins Jordynn and Ryli Dodd, they are going to be great friends.

Days of Christmas Day 7

The cards are in the mail and all the packages are mailed. That makes me very happy! And yes it snowed last night, we are under a blizzard warning from Tuesday morning until sometime Wednesday. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here.

Christmas Days 5 & 6

Better late then never on Day 5. I have a great excuse for being a day late, last night we went to see "A Christmas Carol" done by a local college and my husband got go with me. I have hardly seen him these last couple of weeks so it was wonderful.

Day 6

Here is our Christmas Angel, wearing her snow bunny dress.

Finished Object Friday

Don't you just love aprons that have a story behind them. When my Mom visited a few months ago she bought me this fabric and trim, it belonged to my Mimi Norwood who no longer wanted it. Well to make a long story short I made Mimi an apron for Christmas out of her own fabric once I heard "its" story.
The fabric was a flour sack from when Mimi was a little girl and the trim was crochet by Grandma Barker(some of you know who she was). The trim was originally supposed to go around a pillow case but I thought it was just the right touch for this apron and what better way to combine two very special items. I just love the way it turned out and I know Mimi will love it.
By the way if anyone is reading this that talks to Mimi, SSHH, its a surprise.
If you would like to see more delightful finished objects go on over to the Chari Tree.

Christmas Day 4...Photo Shoot

Have you ever tried to get a 10 month old to sit still for Christmas pictures? It is not a job for the faint of heart. These are a few of the good shots I managed to get of Miss Piper before she got up and tried to get my camera.

Merry Christmas to all Mommy's blogging buddies.

She looks surprised about something. What a silly baby.

My little princess is growing up, isn't she beautiful.
This was a little different Days of Christmas post but my Daddy was having Piper with drawls
so I posted these to help him out until he gets to see his little girl.

Days of Christmas Day 1

Well here we are again another December 1st, where has the year gone? This first picture is for my Mother, she suggested I get a bench for my entry and what a great idea that was. I love it and it even opens to store hats, mittens and scarves.
We would love to have you join in on the days of Christmas post, the rules are pretty simple just take pictures of your Christmas decor or any of you fun Christmas activities, traditions or just daily activities and post them on your blog. I would love to see every one's "Days of Christmas." If you are going to join in just post a comment this first day and I will be adding a link so everyone can visit your "Days of Christmas."
