Where are you Spring?

As you can see we are ready for warmer weather here in the Midwest, wishful thinking I know. But Modge is coming to help chase away the winter blues, YEAH! Tuesday we took Piper to the University of Iowa Eye Institute and the head Oculoplastic doctor, Dr Keith Carter examined her cyst and then scheduled surgery for March 8th. Mommy is quite nervous about her little girl having surgery but I know it is for the best and God helped us to get in with Dr. Carter, one of the best in his field. Please pray that all will go well for the Dr's and recovery will be easy for Piper.

Pigtails...

Miss Piper wore her first pigtails the other day, she was just too cute. Things are going pretty well here is the frozen midwest, I am wishing and hoping and thinking and praying for spring. Piper is cutting more teeth, she will soon have a mouthful of chompers. So beware where you stick your fingers. Well go to run, this dirty house is taking over!

Valentines 2010

Happy Valentines a day late. It is better late then never I guess. Miss Piper had a great time cheesing for a photo. What a sweetheart.

Correction to my last post: Piper will not be having surgery on March 9th, we will be going on February 23rd for a consultation and then they will tell us when the surgery will be. They did not explain things to us very well at the other appointment. I will let everyone know what is going to happen with our little girl.

At the eye Doctor...

We took Miss Piper to the eye doctor yesterday to have a cyst above her right eye checked out. They say it is a Epidermoind Inclusive Cyst and she will have surgery to remove it at the University of Iowa in Iowa City on March the 9th. Mommy is just a little nervous about this. Piper thought the doctors office was great until I had to hold her down so he could examine her and boy was she unhappy about that.
