Snowy Christmas Eve

Waiting to open presents from Nana and Grandpa.
Sorry the pictures got out of order, snow ones
were supposed to be first.

Hooray, Santa came to town.

Christmas Eve was absolutely perfect, it snowed all day.
The snow on the ground and the falling snow really made the night magical.

Gorgeous

The snowy drive into town, so thankful for our 4-wheel drive.

Christmas Day...What Fun!

Poor Kyron, he wasn't sure about this little girl sitting on his lap.

We had such a great time watching Piper open her gifts Christmas morning.

Yeah, now I can have music wherever I go.

We surprised Eric with a motorcycle helmet.

Maid service anyone?

Day's of Christmas - Day 18

Christmas outfits are all ironed and ready to wear to church. I am loving our black and red this year, especially since all I bought was a shirt for Eric and the headbands. I ordered our headbands from Mama always said, they have the cutest things for really great prices.

Day's of Christmas - Day 17

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time. ~Laura Ingalls Wilder

Finished Object Friday

I finally have a finished object, Hooray for me. I had a great fun making this felt flower hair clip for Miss Piper. I cut out flowers in two sizes with my Cricut machine and used them for a template to cut the felt, free handed the leaf, attached a button and Ta-Da! So easy and so cute. Now to get a picture of it in her hair.
For more cute Finished Objects go over to the Chari Tree and see the cuteness she made recently.

Day's of Christmas - Day 14

In 2006 Eric and I met my family in Branson, MO for Thanksgiving, the Titanic museum was brand new and of course we had to visit it. At the time they had a tank that could be pressurized to the pressure it would be if you were to go down and visit the Titanic wreckage. For a few bucks you could purchase a Styrofoam coffee cup, write on it and then they would put it under that extreme pressure, this is the result. We came home and put a ribbon on the now tiny cup and hung it on our tree, it is one of our favorite ornaments.
We love to look at our tree and see all our ornaments, many of them hold happy memories such as this one.

Days of Christmas - Day 2

I am in Love with Sparkling Grape juice, especially when it is in a stemmed glass. The glass just makes you feel so elegant or something like that. I get the whole bottle to myself too, Eric doesn't really care for it, Yeah more for me. I only let myself buy it around the holidays and then I savor it. I put Piper to bed, pour myself a glass and relax, either by reading, wrapping presents or doing crafty stuff. Let the evening begin!
All I want for Christmas is an attitude. Oh wait, I already have that!
Just had to post this cute picture of Piper, she really is Miss Attitude.

Days of Christmas - Day 1

Twenty two months old and already studying the toy catalogs. Miss Piper is making our Christmas time very fun this year.

Join me for my annual Day's of Christmas post. Everyday for December 1 until Christmas day post a picture of your Christmas decor, activities or anything that makes your days Merry & Bright, then link up with Mr. Linky in the upper right hand sidebar. We would love to have you join us and be able to see what makes your holidays merry.

Loving me some cute Christmas cards.

Don't you just love this card? I am having a hard time deciding which design I like the best, there are so many neat ones to choose from. Shutterfly just has way too many cool designs.
As I mentioned in a post a few days ago Shutterfly is doing a promotion for bloggers, I am very excited about participating in this promotion. I have been looking at Shutterflys Christmas cards for awhile and I would love to order from them. There are so many neat styles to choose from, modern, classy and funky. Don't you just love to receive a card with a picture, I know I do. I just love seeing the way children have grown and seeing the smiling faces of friends and relatives I have not seen in a long while. Shutterfly will be helping me make my Christmas card designing easy this year and hopfully put a smile on the faces of those receiving them.
I recently received a photo thank you card for a wedding gift, the bride and groom were holding signs that read "Thank You." It was such a great idea that I am thinking of using it for Pipers birthday thank you's. Thank you cards are something else I enjoy receiving, it is nice to know that the person has received and hopfully liked your gift. Thanks Mom for making me write thank you's, I appreciate it now.
I am sure I could find some great items in there photo gifts too, who wouldn't want a mug with a picture of my little cutie on it? I know some Grandparents that sure would.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and don't forget to choose Shutterfly for your photo cards and gifts.
