Our busy life

Where do I begin to catch you up on all the happening around here? Life has been very busy and very fun. A few weeks ago Piper and I were able to go to a Norwood family reunion. That is most of us in the photo above, twenty four were not able to attend and we missed them all. We had a great time visiting, eating and just catching up. If you would like to see more pics of the reunion just go to this link.
Piper had her photo taken to use in advertising for her Daddy's diesel shop.
Nana took us to a tea room, we had a great time.
We are getting read for Old Threshers, Piper and I are going to work in the Log Village this year. I can't wait to get photos of her in her prairie dress.
And of course school had started, No, Piper is not in school. But someone gave us this old desk and of course Piper just loves it. Well I guess that is all for now, lots of exciting this happening in the next couple of weeks, I will try to keep you informed.

Take me out to the ballgame...

We took Piper to her first baseball game, she got to see the Burlington Bee's play. It was great fun watching her and hearing her yell "ball."
Of course you can't go to a ballgame and not have popcorn. Nice and buttery too.

Piper and Daddy being silly, trying to get someone to throw them a t-shirt.
Me and my sweetheart.
I am going on a blogging break for a few days, Piper and I are going to a family reunion. I am sure I will have loads of pics to share when we get back.

Finished Object for Piper

I can't believe it I actually have a finished object this week, yeah, for me. We were in Wal-Mart this past week and as I was looking for supplies for my Junior's class, Miss Piper spied the "Dora" fabric. And as the wonderful Mommy I am I bought a yard of it to make her a pillow case. She loves anything "Doda"( Pipers pronunciation), I now have a very happy little girl. I know this is not the greatest photo of the object but I believe all of you readers know what a pillow case looks like, so just use your imagination and think "Dora the Explorer" with pink ric-rac around the edge. If you want to see more adorable finished object go on over to the Chari Tree and check them out.

The life of Piper

Last week my cousin Josh and his wife Tiffany were able to spend an evening and part of the next day with us. We loved having them and of course Miss Piper had Tiffany read her favorite book.
Webcams are wonderful! Piper gets to see Modge, Grumpy and Uncle Matt and they get to see her too. Lately when we talk to them she wants to kiss and touch them. Can't wait until she can see them in person again.
Who needs expensive bracelets when you can just wear canning jar rings, smart.

My Sweetheart.
Old carseats make great toys and recliners to sit in and drink your milk.
