Merry Christmas Eve!

Santa came to visit Saturday evening. I got to sit on his lap and tell him what I wanted for Christmas. Most of the Robinson family (the ones that were not sick) came over that night , we ate and play the White elephant game. It was a lot of fun and it was great to be with my family.
Sunday we had a good service at church and heard some of the songs from their Christmas program, that was a real treat. After church Sunday night Uncle Greg, Aunt Sue and their kids came over and we had more food and fellowship. I think I will weigh ten pounds more by the time I leave here. It seems like everything we do involves food.
This morning we went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. (eating again) Then we bought one last gift Mom needed to get and now we are just hanging out here at home and getting some more food ready for tomorrow. I hope y'all have a wonderful Christmas Eve.

This is my cousin Sarah-Ann hugging Santa, it took quite a bit of persuading to get here to do it. She was not overly fond of him. I sure am! :)

Were here...

Well we arrived in Shreveport yesterday afternoon. It was quite different going from temperatures in the 30's to in the 60's but that's OK at least I am home. We had a great time staying with the Boardman bunch. Thanks for letting us stay with you Heidi, we will have to come when we can stay longer.
Last night we went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, that was Matt's Christmas gift to us. We had a great time, Thanks little brother.
Well I better get off here and get ready, the whole Robinson clan is coming over tonight, I can't wait.

Payton's Christmas

We gave Payton a tent and a sleeping bag for Christmas. She loved
both of them. I got a cute brown sweater from her. Payton really
liked the sleeping bag, she wanted to "honk shoo" snore when she
laid on it. She does the cutest things, I with she would stay this
age just a little longer.

Christmas with the Millers

Last night we had Christmas with Eric's parents, we had a good
time and got lots of good presents. It is fun to have two families
to have Christmas with so you get to open gifts and be with family
twice. We receive a couch and love seat from Mom and Dad
Miller, which I already told you about. And I got two more
longaberger baskets. Yeah!
Mom laughing about something, as always.
Dad very seriously opening a Cathedrals and Greater Vision Cd's.
Isn't she cute, I named here Flopsy.
Eric got a Santa Suit. Ho Ho Ho!
And last but not least I got a goat pillow from Grandad and Granny Miller.
To explain why, I have always wanted a pet goat but Eric says they are
just a pain. So I guess I will just have to settle for a pillow.
Well I better get off here and get some packing done. We are leaving
tomorrow and going to the Boardmans and spend the night, then Friday
morning we are going on to Shreveport. So I have much to do! I hope
to post when I am in LA but who knows.

Christmas Program

Well here I am as Grandma. Last night was our Christmas program and it went very well
the children did all of their parts perfect. Grandma forgot to say a line but no one knew.
How do you like my "powder gray" hair and the glasses on my nose?

Here I am with my "grandchildren", we are singing
"Come on Ring Those Bells". Then I began telling them the
Christmas story and we went back in time to the stable.

Here are all the children acting out their parts.

We all sang a song at the end, "Happy Birthday Jesus, I'll open this one just for you" and

"We Wish You a Merry Christmas." It ended up being a very good Christmas program.
