Tan lines and Sprinklers

Miss Piper has been working on her farmer tan. She tans even wearing 50 spf sunscreen.
She is not really sure of her new beach ball sprinkler, hope she learns to love it.

We are enjoying summer time here in Iowa, it has finally dried out enough to get the last 400 or so acres of beans planted. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday weekend. Aren't you Proud to be an American!

Vacation 2010

We had a wonderful time on our vacation to La Porte, Indiana for the Red Power Round Up. Eric took his International 1206 Wheatland to the show, there was red for as far as the eye could see. We heard that there were over 1,000 tractors at the show. Miss Piper is a true farmers daughter, we took her to the zoo and she did not get one bit excited but the minute we saw all the tractors she got very excited and began making motor noised and pointing. Happy Fathers Day to a very great Dad. Piper is a very lucky girl to have you for a Daddy. Thank you for all you do for her. We love you very much.

Parade Time

We went to Birmingham Homecoming Days parade today. Eric paraded the 1206 Wheatland and Piper and I had fun seeing all the tractors, firetrucks and horses in the parade.

A week with Modge & Grumpy.

We had such a great time with my parents and we were sad to see them leave this morning. We all took Piper to the park for the first time, she loves the slides.
One day we spent in the Amana Colonies and had a wonderful day.

These two girls are my favorites.

Grumpy had a great time fishing and even showed Piper one. We had a wonderful time and can't wait until we get to be with them again. I am sure Miss Piper will have a new favorite book for Grumpy to read to her. Love ya'll lot's.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a wonderful time with Eric's cousin Dustin, his wife and two little girls this weekend. Piper and Jordynn loved playing on the swingset together.
