Eric and I decided Piper needed a Mommy/Daddy day and so we left the duo with Nana and Grandpa and took Piper to the
Iowa State Fair. What a fun time we had.
I know people usually do not like pictures of themselves but I have to say I Love this one. The colors are perfect(not editing needed) and it screams of excitement, fun and good food(a shrimp corn dog with sweet jalapeno glaze ~ heaven in your mouth) and to top it off it was taken by a cute little 4 year old.
You can not go the the fair and not see the
butter cow, a state fair tradition.
And of course it is fun to see all the big, beautiful fruits and veggies. How many pies could you make out of this dude?
There is just something nostalgic about the lights of the fair at sunset.
Fair food ~ gotta love it.
There are over 60 food options
on a stick...including a boiled egg on a stick.
