Ready to go!

Miss Piper began taking steps this last week and last night she walked about 3 or so feet by herself. She is going to be walking all over before we know it. Isn't it funny how we get so excited by the little things they do, it is like no other child has ever walked before.

Already 10 months...

Eating her 1st Thanksgiving dinner.

Miss Piper is 10 months old today, time sure flies when your having fun. We enjoyed a great Thanksgiving with 19 people at our house, that is including the three of us. We had enough food to feed a small army and it was all delicious.

We went out to play earlier in the week and my little girl took off down the driveway, I think she was headed to Modge & Grumpy's house.

Here are some 10 month pictures I took of the big girl. She doesn't want to sit still for pictures like she used to, so I just have to be happy with the ones I get.

We love you Miss Piper. Please stop growing so fast.

Happy Thankgiving Friends

Happy Thanksgiving to all my dear friends out there in blog land. I am so thankful for all the many blessing God has given me, the little turkey in the photos is one of the greatest blessings of all. I am very thankful for God's love to me and my family and for allowing each us to see another Thanksgiving.

Miss Piper is thankful for Mommy's lap, it is a very nice place to lay your head. Especially when the photo shoot get to be a little long.

Yeah, for Turkey Day. I can't wait to try some new food.

No chicken legs here...

Does anyone need some "hams" for your big dinner Thursday. I think we could find a few around our house. Aren't those just the cutest chubby legs you've ever see and they are ticklish too. She will want to kill me for this picture one day but I just couldn't help myself.
Hope everyone is preparing their appetites for the big day ahead and remembering that it is not just about the dinner but a day for being Thankful for all the many blessings God has given us. I sure am thankful for those chubby legs crawling around my house.

Shop work...

I took Piper to play at Daddy's shop for the first time Tuesday evening, she loved it. Good thing I am not afraid of a little dirt, cause this picture is just the beginning.
She thought it was great fun to push Dad's rolling stool around, she preferred that over her own walking toy.

Let's see what size wrench do I need to fix my toy?

Camera's up...Action

Just a little advance notice to get your camera's dusted off and ready for some action. Well some us might not have to dust ours off, it more like get a new one cause you wore the old one out. Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know that I plan on hosting the 25 days of Christmas photo's again this year. Basically you take a picture of something happening from December 1 -25, very easy to do. I really enjoyed seeing every ones photo's and activities last year, let's see if we can't get more folks to join us this year. I will be posting links to the blogs of those that would like to be a part. So get your camera ready, December 1 will be here before you know it.

Christmas FOF...

My office/craft room needed a little Christmas cheer so I quickly transformed this canvas into a simple decoration. I think Piper's picture add to the cheerfulness of it, she is so merry and "silly". Five Years...

Five years ago on November 12, 2004, I married the man of my dreams. It has been five wonderful years being married to him. I love you Forever & Always Eric.

What a mess...

Uh Oh, Miss Piper has discovered the toilet paper. Uh Oh, is also her new word, she drops stuff just so she can say it. You never know what mess she will get into next.

Do we really have to take another one? I am tired of
all this picture taking. Well these are just two of the
many pictures we took, trying to get the perfect one for
our Christmas card. We did manage to get a few good
ones. If you are lucky you will be receiving one in your
mail box this year.

Leaf fun...

Yesterday Payton told me it was sunny enough to go outside and play in the leaves, so that is just what we did. Yes, it might have been sunny but that still did not make it very warm. Cold doesn't seem to effect these leaf lovers though.
