Fair Fun

This last week we ventured out to the fair several times, we had a great time visiting with friends, eating corndogs and funnels cakes and of course seeing the animals.
Piper was "dressed" and ready to go, wearing a shirt she won at the fair and her cowboy boots that used to be Paytons.
Piper and some little guy tearing it up on the dance floor. This little boy came over and asked her if she wanted to dance and of course she did.
Miss Piper and our friend Sabrina on top of the sawdust pile. We are planning on an other good week, my sister inlaw and little boy are coming to town, tractor pull Saturday, 4th of July and vacation next week, can you tell we love summer?

Sand, Sewing and More.

Piper has enjoyed her sand table I found at the Goodwill, it is great entertainment for a great price.
Already to go ride on the open tractor with Grandpa, she is such a farmgirl.
I think she has been watching Mommy too much, she was trying to sew her own "Fancy Nancy" pillowcase. I better hurry and get it made for her before she does it herself.
I think we need to get a basket for the poor kittens to ride in, over the handle bars does not look to comfy. Well summer is in full swing here and we are enjoying it, swimming lessons, vacation coming up, the county fair this week and so much more. Finished Object Friday

Wow, Finished Object Friday again, where does time go? I am loving my finished object this week, the cute table above it the latest project. I found the table at the Goodwill and knew that it had potential. As you can see from the last photo it was not a beauty but some good sanding a few coats of white paint and stripes and now it matches my newly redecorated living room very well. As for making the stripes I measured a little, eyeballed a little and Ta-Da, I have stripes.
How do you like what I have done over the couch? I am thinking I need either blue garland or maybe just some green garland mixed with the white pearl garland. I am loving the oversized prints of Piper.

Randomness...

Well it has been awhile since I have posted and my Dad is complaining about not seeing his sheepdog a.k.a Piper. So here is a bunch of random pictures for him and you to enjoy. The above picture is Piper being her normal goofy self.
In the last month Piper gave up her Binky, the Binky Fairy came and took it and gave her a kite in return. She thought it was a fair trade and has not asked for the Binky since. Yeah for Miss Piper. Sniff, Sniff for Mommy, my baby is growing up.

Good Times

It was great to have my parents here for Mothers Day, it had been six years since I had spent a Mothers Day with them. We are having a great time and enjoying wonderful weather.
And of course Miss Piper is thrilled to death to have them here, I believe they are enjoying her too.
I love these three people so much! Well I guess I better run and go spend more time with them, time goes so fast when they are around. More photos to come later.
