Our life...

Well things have been busy around here lately. Making apple butter and applesauce, going to camp and just everyday housewife chores. I am thinking about doing a little give away of some home canned goodies, anyone if favor?
It seems I am the only one looking at the camera, Piper and Grandma must have seen something better. It was good to see my Grandma Robinson again, I love that lady and so does Piper. Grandma thinks Piper is just a little doll.
Piper found some little girls and rocks to play with, it is cute to see her with other kids. She also found some little boys to talk too.
Autumn and Piper would not look at me at the same time so this is as good as it got. They are very cute together.
Here they are last year at camp, my what changes a year has made. Well I guess it is back to our busy lives, more apple stuff to make and hopefully I will get some more goodies to can. Ta-Ta for now!

Easter fun...lot's of pictures.

Digging into her Easter basket.
We spent the weekend in Missouri with the Boardmans, we had a wonderful time being with Dave, Heidi, kiddos and Mamaw Shirley. Thanks so much for letting us come and visit.

Miss Emily the candy queen.

Miss Independent, all I could think was AAHH, not the new dress.

Miss Piper meeting Mr. Alex for the first time. I think they could be great friends.
Zack was Piper buddy, she loved him so very much. He looks good in Emily's hat too.

Rosy Cheeks.

So sweet, Father & Daughter.

Our little family.

Our great friends the Boardsmans. Love you guys.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. It is a great thing to know Jesus is Risen and waiting in Heaven for each one of us.

Little Girls...

Buzz and Crystal Gilchrist came down on Thursday and we got to spend a few hours with them, it was great fun. Piper and Autumn played together while Crystal and I talked(can you believe it.) I hope these little girls grow up to be good friends like there Mommies are. Piper and Autumn are about 6 months apart, but Miss Piper is almost bigger than Miss Autumn.

Do you know how hard it is to get two little girls to look at the camera at the same time?

I love kids...

Yesterday was kind of a sad day for me, it was the last day I kept the kids until sometime after the baby is born. It is amazing how much you can love someone else's kids. I decided to quit keeping them a few weeks before the baby is due because I have projects I would like to get done around the house before our fun life begins and who knows I might surprise everyone and go early. (I really doubt it!!!)
It snowed yesterday and the kids and I had a great time watching it fall... huge beautiful flakes.

Buzz(Dennis), Crystal and Autumn Gilchrist came down this last weekend for my baby shower, the spent Friday night and most of Saturday with us. We had a great time catching up, playing games and playing with Autumn, what a sweetheart. The guys went four-wheeling too, it snowed Friday night, so they had a lot of fun.

Some of the pretty snow we got yesterday, we are supposed to get more tonight. Anywhere from 3 to 5 inches. Anyone want to build a snowman?

A baby tummy makes a great pillow. Keegan was very sleepy yesterday after lunch but did not want to miss out on watching Eric and Payton play, so he found a good pillow and watched the action for the mountain top. Well I guess that is an update on the happenings around our house, tomorrow I am going to try to post nursery photo's. But I need to finish putting all the shower gifts away first, it is a little bit messy in there.

Life on the farm

Good beautiful Saturday morning to everyone. It is a bright sunny day and it is also warm Yeah! Life around here has not been to exciting lately but I will try to bring you up to date on what we have been up to.

Crystal, Melissa, Christie
Wednesday evening we went to the Quad Cities for the evening service of Missionary Convention. We had a nice time seeing all our family and friends.

Thursday Eric had to feed the cows for Grandad, Payton and I went with him. Payton was holding out her hands wanting to pet the cows, but alas they are not very tame. We had a nice time watching her and listening to all she had to say about them.
I thought this picture was cute. New life a wonderful sign that spring is here. Well I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend.
