Our summer in pictures

Wow, it really has been a while since I posted,  but I have a valid excuse.   Our computer is dead...lightning got it.   We have had a crazy and fun summer so far.   VBS, County fair, July 4th tractor pull, Church camp and much more.    I am just going to post so pics of all fun...Enjoy!

Sorry about the crazy layout, but I am doing this from my ipad and I have know idea how to get my post the way I want them.     Sure hope the rest of you are having a great summer.  We go on vacation next week and then I have to get everything ready to start teaching Piper Kindergarten.   :)

Spring has sprung...

 My nephew came for a visit, so of course we had to take some pictures of these cousins together.

 Two five year old, they are only four months apart.

Hello!

 Hello from cold snowy Iowa...we are in fact still alive.    Sorry for the unplanned blogging absence, but I do have a great excuse...a 5year old, two 14 month olds and tax season(my husband owns a business(craziness).         I did try to post these pics last week but blogger was be difficult.    Taking the duos pics is a work out...I hope you enjoy the ones I did get. 

Happy 5th Birthday

Can you believe it Miss Piper is 5?    We are so thankful to have her in our home...she fill is with laughter, drama and silliness.   We love you so very much Piper J.

Be a doll Birthday...Piper turns 5

 Can you believe it Miss Piper turns 5 on Monday.   Today we had a little party with her two friends.   When she got up she got to open a birthday outfit from NeeNee and Grumpy.

 Can you tell she loved her gift...she received an Molly ~ An American Doll. 

 The theme of the party was "Dolls",  her invitation said "Be a doll and bring one too."

 Yes, they are fenced in.  :)   Piper wanted to have a tea party and sit at her little table...tea party, within reach, one year old twins...do not mix.

 And of course not party is complete without cake.

More doll decorations,  it was a very easy party do decorate for,  all I had to do was "shop" the house.

Christmas Recap

And the guys both got gun cases.  Eric say's next year he will buy his own case and ask Santa to fill it. 

"All my dreams can true" she said.  Piper was very excited that Santa brought her Cuddles.

Capturing December ~ Day's 20, 21, 22 & 23

 Day 20 ~  Friday night we opened stocking...Piper seems to like what she is opening.

 Day 21 ~ Saturday we traveled from Iowa to Arkansas to be with my Grandmother and family for the weekend...sleeping really does make the trip go faster.

 Day 22 ~ Sunday I was able to spend time with my a few of my cousins...Christie and are just six months apart( we have another cousin Keren who is six months older then me),  getting to spend time with any of them is special.

 Here is Piper and my cousin Christie's little guy Tyler,  theses two are only a month apart.

Day 23 ~  We finally got to my parents in Louisiana,  NeeNee was to happy to have her babies.

 Need any wrapping done...these Elves are always eager to help.  They like unrolling ribbon and tearing tissue paper best.   And the big sister Elf likes to use lots and lots of tape.   :)

 Here is quick peek at the kiddo's in their Christmas finery.   We will not be home next Sunday and so I dressed them in their coordinating outfits.    Gotta love the pic of Blake with drool on his chin.  :)
