 Houston we have lift off!   Blake has found he can pull himself up...I am not ready for this.

 What?  Don't you lay on the living room floor in your diaper and check facebook?  I like looking at pictures of my Mom...she loves me.

Yep, Trouble 2 that's me.   Mommy thought I could not get in any trouble with the markers,  proved her wrong.    Big Sis did not have the lid on tight.

Fantastic Friday ~ July 4th Fun

I am happy to report we had a great July 4th,  Family, Food, Fireworks and Tractors.   What more could we want?   Here are some pictures of our fun day.

Fantastic Friday

Hello Friday.  Don't you just love the weekend?    This week has been a busy one for us, I have been in charge of crafts for our church VBS and helping supervise a room full of preschoolers armed with green paint(scary).  My nephew is here visiting so there have been play times and also a visit to the county fair and another visit on schedule for tomorrow.    Very busy but also very Fun,  isn't that what summer is all about?

 Having fun with frog crafts at VBS.  The theme is Fully Rely On God or FROG. 

You cannot go to the fair and not have some good ole fair food,  taking a break from watching the tough truck competition.

Fantastic Friday

This past Saturday Eric took Piper on a date to a Fly - In.   Piper has inherited her Dad's love for airplanes and flying.   We did not tell her about it because it was supposed to rain and we did not want to disappoint her.   So when Eric woke her up and asked her if she wanted to go eat pancakes and see airplanes she was thrilled.

 This plane says "Flying Station Wagon".   That is what we would need to haul our kids and luggage, or maybe a flying bus. 

 Piper loves the fact that she shares her name with an airplane,  so of course she had to get her picture taken with a Piper.

Eric's friend George owns this plane and let Piper sit in it,  that made her day. 
  I love that Eric takes time to have "date" time with his little girl ~  she will treasure those memories forever.   

Fantastic Friday

We are sure enjoying our summertime,  warm temps and sunny days.  I have been using my cleaning schedule and it has been helping me have time to enjoy my kiddos and do fun things like this.

 Miss Brenna's first time in a swing,  she enjoyed it very much.

 Mr. Blake's first time in a swing,  he loved it too.

And of course the big sister always enjoys swinging,  especially if you will push her really high.  
Well it looks like a beautiful weekend ahead of us,  I am hosting Father's Day lunch at my house on Sunday...so I will be kept very busy for the next few days.      Hope each one of you has a fantastic Friday and entire weekend.

Fantastic Friday ~ Finished Object Friday

Hooray for me, I actually got  a craft project done.   I needed a new patriotic wreath for my porch, so here it is.   Now to get the rest of the porch and patio ready for summer,  come back warm weather.   I am linking up with Chari's Finished Object Friday.  Go over there and see the cute apron she made.  Piper got one for Christmas and thinks it is pretty neat.

Good morning and Fantastic Friday to all of you.   It really is a good day for me since I am finally feeling better,  as you can tell I totally missed Wednesdays post.   I did not even realize it was Wednesday and I should have had a post until is was way too late and I did not even care.   So hope you all will forgive me for being human. :)
   As you all know Mother's Day is fast approaching and I am in need of some fun and easy craft ideas to use for my Bible Club.   If any of you have a cute project you have made  or a link to something you think I might be able to use please let me know.  I think this sickness has fried my brain and I am drawing a blank when it comes to ideas.

Fantastic Friday

What's for supper?    Do you make a menu for the week/month or do you just decided that day what you are fixing for supper?   I have done both and I found that not having a menu for the week caused me to spend more money at the grocery store.   So I have been making out a menu for the week and only buy what I need for those meals and I am trying to use items that have been sitting in my cabinets.   This has really helped with the budget.  So tell me how to you plan your meals?   I would love to hear about it and I would also love for you to share one your families favorite meals.    I don't know about you but I like finding new items to add to the menu.  
   I found this recipe for Million Dollar Spaghetti on Pinterest and gave it a try,  LOVE IT.    Eric, Piper and I all agreed it was a keeper.      Happy eating and hope you all have a great weekend.

With summer vacations and road trips approaching I thought I would share with you some of things I bring along to keep Piper entertained and happy in the car and also some neat ideas I have found on Pinterest.   *click highlighted words to go to Pinterest link.
1.  If your child loves to do puzzles, color, play with cars or magnets these trays are a must.  We did this and Piper loved it.

2.  A very hand way to keep snacks organized and not get squished.

3.  BooginHead Squeez'ems ~  fill with your own puree.

4.  Always pack a favorite blanket and a pillow.   I love the idea for this pillow,  I will be making it before our summer vacation(no more head on her knees for Piper)

5. Fist Aid Kit is a must, you know how crazy kids can be and you also know that someone just might get sick.  Germs are rampant!

6.   I love this idea for packing kids clothes,  you put the outfits together but they still get a choice.  I did this last year and it made getting ready for the day so easy.

Fantastic Friday

Well here we are ready to start the weekend,  Let the fun begin.   Tell me what does your family does on the weekend,   eat a big Saturday breakfast,  have a fun Friday night out,  play games or maybe you don't do much of anything.  Whatever you do or have done I would love to hear about it.    I must admit I am looking for some ideas, the only thing we do almost every weekend is have breakfast for supper on Saturday night.   Sometimes on Friday nights we will go out for supper or play games with Piper but that is usually the extent of it.   This weekend however we do have plans,  we are headed to visit some great friends.  So without further ramblings let the weekend fun begin.

Here are a few picture of the kiddos on Easter.   My Dad likes to get on my blog and see pictures of his grandkids,  so I must keep him happy.
