Piper at 4 months...

What she is up to: Piper has just learned to roll from
her back to her front and is doing it quite often. She is also
learning to make different sounds, she loves to "talk".
New Things: Food, Food, Food! We are introducing some
baby food and cereal. So far she has tried Pears, Bananas,
Peas and Carrots and has not turned anything down.

I love to play with my toys but I don't know why I have to wear a bow to do it.

Happy Memorial Day...

I hope everyone has had a great Memorial Day and has taken time to remember why we have this holiday. Thank You to all who have fought for our country and for those who are fighting even now, we thank you for the bottom of our hearts.
This morning Eric, Piper and I went to town for a Memorial Day service on the town square, we enjoyed it despite the sprinkles of rain.
I took this picture last night after church, I thought she looked adorable. This Memorial Day is quite different from last years, last year on this day we found out that we were going to have a baby in about eight months. My how time flies.
Piper enjoyed hearing the band play, she became very still which is kind of unusual for her.

Fun, Fun, Fun...

I have been having such a great time here in Louisiana with my family that I have badly neglected my blog. I am not really sorry though, we have been enjoying every minute here. Here are a few pictures of the some of the things we have been doing this past week.
We had a fish fry at Uncle Steve & Aunt Cheryl Robinson's house, it was great. It is so fun to be with all my family, we have such a great time together.

Modge is having a blast loving on Piper, neither one is going to know what to do when we leave.

Matt graduated from LSUS on Sunday afternoon, that was the highlight of my trip. I am so proud of my little brother, he got the brains of the family. This is Matt and his girlfriend Beka, who also graduated from LSUS in December.

Saturday evening we had a party to honor Matt, everyone had a great time eating BBQ and visiting.

Here is Miss Piper holding her first balloons, she wasn't very interested. We have been having a great time and I will try to do better with my posting. We have more exciting things planned for my last few days here, I will try to post some more of our visit later.

Fun in Louisiana...

Well Piper and I arrived in Louisiana Tuesday afternoon, we had a great flight and Piper was wonderful. We have been having a blast so far, shopping, eating out and just being with Modge, Grumpy and Uncle Matt. They are loving having Miss Piper here and are spoiling her rotten.

The weather has been great, tonight we took a walk around the neighborhood. Piper loves to have Modge talk to her.

Uncle Matt & Miss Piper, he was not to sure of watching her while I ironed my clothes but he did a great job. She really like her Unk, he makes her smile all the time. Well I guess that is all for now, we are busy getting ready for Matt's graduation party on Saturday. I will try to post more pictures later.

My Mother's Day...

I had a great first Mother's Day, I love being a Mommy. I hope and pray all of you had a great Mother's Day too and I am praying that some of you will be able to celebrate your first Mother's Day real soon.
I received a Vera Bradley lunch bag, cooler(Sierra Mist included), paper clips and a book for Piper, from my Mother in law. I could not ask for a better Mother in law. I am getting a great gift from my husband, he is letting Piper and I go visit my family in Louisiana for a week and a half. We are flying out tomorrow, Matt graduates from LSUS on Sunday and we are going to have a great time celebrating. Well I better go finish the packing. I will keep everyone updated while I am there.
