Well my baby girl turned on today...sniff, sniff. She actually seemed to enjoy posing for the camera today, that made me very happy.
Piper you are the most wonderful little girl in the whole world, Mommy and Daddy love you ever so much.

A hat is a hat...

Miss Piper has taken a liking to hats. Not the pretty ones I want her to wear but dusting rags and Daddy's work stocking hat. She loves to run around with these things on her head and then take them off and "try" to put them back on. Now if she will just wear the cute ones that match her outfits.

I finally have a FOF, Yeah, for me! We had an ice storm this week and I have been stuck at home. So what better thing to do then scrapbook. Maybe we should have things like this more often. I am slowly getting my wedding album done, I've only been married five years.

Around the house...

Ice baby, Ice. Yesterday we had a big ole ice storm, what a great day to stay inside and piddle around. I did get a scrapbook page done and yes one page is progress!
Miss Piper loves her Daddy, she follows him around like a lost puppy dog. Here she is watching him clean the ice off the sidewalk.
Nana and Grandpa have been gone for a week and so they had to come see Piper as soon as they got back home. They even brought her a rain coat for next spring, it's big but she still enjoyed wearing it around.

My Modge is sick, so I think I will make her some chicken soup. Gooseberry Patch probably has a good recipe.
Modge, sure hope you are feeling better soon. Wish we could bring you some chicken soup and this little dose of sunshine. Love, Melissa & Piper.

A little snotty...

Poor Miss Piper has been sick this week with a nasty cold, we have invested in the kleenex company. She did enjoy sitting at her table to eat a snack. I sure hope she gets better soon or Daddy might have to take a day off and care for her so Mommy can get a break. Well I hope all of you are having a little better week then we are.

Snow day

Miss Piper is not crying about the snow, she was sad the kitten ran away from her. It has been a lazy snowy day here and I have been enjoying it.

Still alive...

You just can't open presents with one hand in your snack bowl. Piper was more interested in eating than opening her present from Auntie Chari but Mommy sure liked the her present. Thank You Chari, the wallet is so neat and the dress will look great on Piper.
Well we are still alive here in the deep freeze of Iowa. Since we have been home from Louisiana the weather has not gotten above 10 degrees, every night has been below 0. We had a great time with all our family and friends but it was also nice to be back home. All the Christmas decor is put away for another year and I am now planning Miss Pipers 1st birthday party. I hope I can keep up with my blog now, the holidays sure got me out of kilter.
