Vacation Time...

Vacation time has finally arrived, we leave in the morning to spend a week relaxing with my family. Piper was very happy to sit in the back of the car with the luggage. Well I hope everyone has a great week, we sure will. I know I will have lots of pictures so check back later.

Little bit of life...

Nobody ever told me that one day I would push a stroller around my own house just to get my daughter to take a nap. That is just what happened today, Piper has a cold and is miserable, she would not take a nap. But thanks to my Mom's advice (the stroller) she is now sleeping, hopefully for quite awhile. Parenting books don't tell you everything you need to know.

We got to see Pipers Great Grandma Robinson at camp this last weekend. She loved Piper and wanted to keep her, Piper thought she was pretty special too.

Ready for Vacation...

Miss Piper is now ready to go on vacation, Nana gave her a Vera Bradley duffel bag. Don't you know every little girl needs one! We are so excited about vacation, just two more weeks to wait. We are meeting Mom, Dad, Matt & Beka in Branson, Mo and we are going to have the time of our lives. I just love being with my family and they can't wait to be with Piper.

Yesterday evening we had supper at my in laws house. Kim's sisters were all here and all but one of the cousins. What a great time we had!

This, that and the other...

Here are some random pictures of what has been going on around our house, never a dull moment. Above are some new dress for Piper, 60% off the clearance price, you can't beat that.
First time in the pool. The girls had a great time playing in the pool. Keagan would rather play with the water hose, it was turned off but he didn't mind.
This past Saturday I needed to finish mowing the yard so Piper got to stay at Daddy's shop for awhile. She must have been working because her walker tray had dirt in it.
Miss Piper loves to talk to Modge. Piper says " she loves you Modge & Grumpy and can't wait until vacation."

Nana(Kim) gave Piper her first purse and it would just have to be a Vera Bradley. Piper loves it, the bright colors are just her thing and it matches Mommy's.

She fell asleep on the way to town the other night, I went to get her out and found her holding on to her new purse. I guess girls just love their purses.

Our July 4th...

We had a quiet July 4th, it was cool and rainy. Not what we really had in mind for our holiday. Eric's Dad and cousin Aaron Blauvelt came over for lunch, Eric's Mom was out of town. Miss Piper seemed to enjoy her first 4th, of course in Grandpa's arms in a very fun place to be.
My sweetheart grilled some brats and hotdogs for us, they were yummy!
Piper tried watermelon for the first time, she really enjoyed sucking the juice out.
Taking a little nap so she would be rested up for the fireworks. She acted like she enjoyed the fireworks, they did not scare her a bit.
I just had to try out the firework setting on my camera, sure wish I would have gotten some better shots. Oh well I guess I will try again later. Hope each one of you had a great holiday weekend.

More about Piper...

Here is our big girl wearing her red shoes. Every girl has to have a pair of red shoes, right? As you can tell she is learning to sit up, still very tipsy but starting to get the hang of it. Nice diaper too :)
My Daddy showed me how to get my toe in my mouth and now I think it is so yummy. Thanks for the showing me this neat trick Dad.
Poor Piper had a bad hair day and the poor thing doesn't even have very much hair. This is how you hair looks after you have turned yourself all around in your crib.
